Learn to STAND, WALK, RUN and THROW better!!

Train the way we have always been biologically designed to move.
What Is Biomechanics?
Biomechanics is the study of the mechanics of the human body. By focusing on how muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments work together in the way you move, we can identify inefficient movement patterns and help you to improve function and performance.

Training Method
WCB solely implements Functional Patterns (FP) philosophy and methodology. FP was founded by Naudi Aguilar in 2006. This method of training is a holistic approach to fitness, health and wellness. Based on principles of biomechanics, neuroscience, and evolutionary biology, this system of movement focuses on correcting dysfunctional movement patterns to help optimise mobility and athleticism.
What Is The Point Of Difference & Why Train At WCB?
While traditional training mostly focuses on isolation when exercising and solving pain problems, Functional Patterns works to address the whole integrative system for the same issues.
As humans, our primary movements are Standing, Walking, Running and Throwing, so by focusing on these using Myofascial release, corrective and dynamic exercises, it can not only help improve posture and gait, but it can also:
How Does It Work?
FP uses multiple techniques and tools to address dysfunctional patterns in movement and standing posture, including:

Myofascial Release

Corrective Exercises

Structural Integration

Biomechanical Analysis

Neuromuscular Re-education
Our Services
Consultation & Assessment

In a 90-minute consultation, together, we will take images and videos of your posture and gait to analyse, looking for dysfunctions. We will then go over some Myofascial Release techniques for you to learn and take home, and if there is enough time, we will learn a couple correctives that you can take into home training along with the MFR. Here we also discuss goals and past injury history and any other information that would be important to share.
Standard Appointments

These standard 1:1’s are 60-minute sessions. Here we will work together to create specific changes in your posture and gait.
Group Classes

60-minute group classes to help progress and have an additional place and time to practice the techniques learnt in your 1:1 session. Great for networking and connecting with a like-minded community. To attend the group training sessions you must have a minimum of 5 1:1 sessions to ensure you understand the principles of FP and confident to carry this into a session.
